Workforce Brain Health
"I developed a new appreciation that change is possible, rather than just accepting that this is how my brain works."
The brain is your organisation's most valuable asset.
Workforce Brain Health is Yiliyapinya's science-informed program for organisations and corporate teams seeking to understand, strengthen and sustain the brain health of their people.
Practical and impactful professional development
Centered in applied neuroscience and informed by Indigenous knowledge, the program brings a uniquely holistic perspective to workplace wellbeing. It recognises that the brain is shaped by experience, relationship, environment and culture — and that every person carries a history that influences how they think, feel and perform.
Workforce Brain Health equips individuals and teams with a personalised understanding of how their brains function, and practical tools to strengthen cognitive performance, emotional regulation and resilience in everyday working life.
This program can be tailored for your context — ranging from a one hour 'lunch and learn' presentation to a 12-month cognitive training program shown to improve cognitive function in individuals, translating to increased efficiency and efficacy in teams.
What participants consistently report
Organisations that invest in brain health create the conditions for every person to perform, connect and contribute at their best.
Gemma's Story
*Name has been changed to protect privacy.
Gemma is a high school teacher who participated in a 12-week Workforce Brain Health program. From the outset, her Brain Health Screener identified working memory as her key area for development — something Gemma hadn't previously recognised, though she had unconsciously built workarounds for it throughout her career.
Over the course of the program, those patterns became visible. Gemma began to understand not just what her brain was doing, but why — and what she could do differently. She noticed significant changes.
The experience of learning alongside colleagues was equally significant. Gemma appreciated that management invested in this particular professional development within a team, rather than an individual context.
"I talk less and listen more. I listen better now when people are speaking rather than making assumptions. I am less impulsive, interrupt less, and have improved in my ability to read a situation accurately."
"The opportunity to walk this pathway with others, discuss the challenges, and work with a team that respected the vulnerability of engaging in learning together has been incredibly valuable."
